Kharkiv regional prosecutor Oleksandr Filchakov has told RFE/RL that Russia hit a store in Ukraine's second-biggest city, Kharkiv, with aerial guided bombs on May 25 when more than 200 people were inside. On May 26, excavators cleared the rubble from the devastated hypermarket, which sold construction and housing items. The attack claimed at least 14 lives.
