India Tests New Ballistic Missile Capable Of Carrying Nuclear Warheads

India said it has successfully test fired its Agni-IV ballistic missile.

The missile was launched from a test range at Wheeler Island off the eastern coast of India on September 19.

Indian media that reported the missile has a range of some 3,500 kilometers.

India's test of the Angi-IV missiles comes after Pakistan successfully test-fired its Hatf-VII Babur missile on September 17.

The Pakistani missile has a range of some 700 kilometers and can also carry nuclear warheads.
