Acting Ukrainian President Oleksandr Turchynov repeated to parliamentarians today his warning that pro-Russian separatists seizing buildings in the east will be tried as "terrorists," according to AFP.
"The authorities will treat separatists and terrorists who have picked up automatic weapons, who are seizing buildings, in accordance with the constitution and the law -- as terrorists and criminals," Turchynov said.

Reuters quotes NATO Secretary-General Rasmussen as saying events in eastern Ukraine are "a great concern" and asking Russia to pull back troops near the border:

Interfax quotes the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andriy Senchenko, as saying Kyiv will have to "engage International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors in the protection of the Crimean nuclear site," in the agency's words.Senchenko is quoted as saying: "There is a nuclear site in Crimea -- an institute training atomic energy industry and NPP specialists and an operating nuclear facility, which is under the [sic] Ukrainian jurisdiction and is protected by an Interior Ministry Forces unit. There were several injuries in the ensuing clashes, which also pitted the pro-Moscow ranks against members of a pro-Ukrainian group.
