Dozens Killed In Road Accident In Southwest Pakistan

Thirty-five people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a road accident in southwestern Pakistan.

The accident took place early on March 22 in Hub area of Balochistan Province.

It involved a truck carrying gasoline and three buses.

Police said 25 people were reported to have died at the scene, while 10 of the injured died on the way to the city of Karachi.

A local medic, Faisal Edhi, told RFE/RL that most of the dead couldn't be recognized due to severe burns.

Bad roads and poor driving often cause deadly accidents in Pakistan.
