Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stressed the need for a "de-occupation" of the Russia-annexed Crimea and called for the reform of the United Nations in his speech to the UN General Assembly. In a prerecorded address to the body on September 23, Zelenskiy urged the world not to let the Russian annexation of Crimea become a "customary element of the international order."
