NOTE: Video contains graphic images. Video footage posted to a social media website shows people, including several children, being treated with medicine via an inhaler in an emergency clinic following an alleged chemical attack in what is said to be Douma, Syria. Many were being hosed down with water. Opposition-linked first responders, known as the White Helmets, and other activist groups said toxic gas inside barrel bombs dropped late on April 7 by a helicopter over Douma -- the last rebel-held town in Syria's eastern Ghouta region near Damascus -- caused people to suffocate and choke. Dozens of people are reported to have died. There has been no independent verification of the reports, which Damascus and its ally Moscow called a "fabrication," while U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that Russia and Iran bear responsibility "for backing Animal Assad."
