Suicide Bomber Attacks Foreign Convoy In Kabul
A suicide car bomber struck a convoy carrying foreign forces in Kabul on May 16, killing at least six Afghan civilians and injuring at least 35 people, including children, Afghan officials said. The Hizb-e-Islami insurgent group, allied with the Taliban, claimed responsibility for the attack. Kabul police said several houses were also severely damaged by the powerful blast.
