Ukraine Simplifies Legal Process For Gender Transition
Ukraine's Health Ministry has taken steps to reduce the legal obstacles faced by transgender people. Since the end of December 2016, it's no longer necessary to petition a board of mental health professionals or spend a month in a psychiatric facility in order to legally change one's gender.
