A U.S. judge has scheduled the start of the trial of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev for November.
Judge George O'Toole said at the court session on February 12 that jury selection would start on November 3, well ahead of the September 2015 date the defense had requested.
Tsarnaev, a native of Russia's troubled Chechnya region, is charged with killing three people and injuring 264 others when he and his brother planted two homemade bombs along the course of the Boston Marathon last year.
Tsarnaev's brother Tamerlan was killed during a gunbattle with police several days after the attack.
Tsarnaev could face the death penalty if convicted.
