21 November 2005 -- Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar al-Zebari is in Moscow for talks today with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on efforts to improve ties between the two countries.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin has said al-Zebari's visit should "add new impetus to the development of traditionally friendly Russian-Iraqi relations."
Al-Zebari has said the talks will focus on how Russia can help Iraq restore its infrastructure.
