Iraqi, U.S. Forces Raid Hospital

(RFE/RL) July 5, 2006 -- The U.S. military said U.S. and Iraqi forces today raided a hospital in the western Iraqi city of Al-Ramadi, which the military said insurgents were using as a safe haven and to coordinate attacks.

Also today, a suicide car bombing near a police station in the northern city of Mosul killed at least two people and wounded several.
