November 29, 2006 -- The U.S. military says eight suspected Al Qaeda-affiliated militants were killed in an early-morning raid near Ba'qubah, north of the capital, Baghdad.
It said two Iraqi women were also killed during a heavy exchange of fire between U.S. troops and the militants.
