Iraq Says 15 Sunni Insurgents Killed In Raid

U.S. military vehicles arriving in Iraq from Kuwait, January 16 (epa) January 20, 2007 -- Elite Iraqi police forces dropped off by U.S. helicopters staged a raid against an Al-Qaeda-linked Sunni militant group in Baghdad today, killing 15 insurgents and capturing five.
The Interior Ministry said Iraqi forces met fierce resistance from the militants, who were hiding in the predominantly Sunni neighborhood of Dora in southern Baghdad.


Meanwhile, the U.S. military said three U.S. soldiers were killed over the past day, including one in Baghdad.
