Activists Stage Rare Mass Protest In Baku

Azerbaijani opposition activists held a rare mass protest in Baku, one of the largest ever seen in the country. The National Council of Democratic Forces called for the cancellation of a September 26 referendum which would strengthen the authority of President Ilham Aliyev, and likely prolong his rule.
