Azerbaijani Police Detain Baku Residents In Neighborhood Crackdown

Riot police detained several people in the Yasamal neighborhood of Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, early on June 8. The crackdown came a day after residents threw objects at a police car as a local man was detained on suspicion of breaking coronavirus lockdown regulations. Video of the detentions was provided by Azerbaijani independent television channel Meydan.
