Fatal Car Bombings Near Baghdad, Kirkuk

Iraqi officials say two car bombs have killed at least six people.

In one of the attacks on August 13, a bomb exploded near a Shi’ite place of worship, killing four people in the town of Madain, about 20 kilometers south of Baghdad.

In the other blast, two policemen were killed as they were trying to defuse a car bomb left on the road near the northern city of Kirkuk.
