Former U.S. President Barack Obama made his first public appearance since leaving office in January. He led a panel discussion on April 24 at the University of Chicago, where Obama's presidential library is planned. The 44th president of the United States told the young audience that he hoped to "encourage and support the next generation leaders." While Obama did not comment on his successor, President Donald Trump, he did discuss political divisions in America. (AP)
