Some of the world's biggest clothing retailers have committed to an agreement to improve safety at Bangladesh' garment factories.
The agreement follows the collapse of a garment factory near Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, last month that killed more than 1,100 workers.
The world's two biggest fashion retailers, Sweden's Hennes & Mauritz, and Spain's Inditex, owner of the Zara chain, are among those who have joined the accord.
Negotiations were led by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and other labor groups.
Details of the agreement are yet to be revealed, but reports say it requires that the companies commit financially to improving safety standards.
