We are seeking a Bureau Systems Administrator in our Yerevan office to maintain and support the bureau's IT systems, networks, and multimedia equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations and reliable technical support for our journalists and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full IT support for the bureau, including computers, servers, networks, and multimedia equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software, including Windows, Mac, Cisco devices, and broadcast tools.
- Assist and train staff in equipment and software use.
- Coordinate with Prague IT team and Bureau Chief on priorities, security, and system status.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, and network protocols.
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android) and graphic software
- Good technical understanding of IT hardware, software, networking, and backups.
- Communicative English (needed for daily communication with supervisor).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Nice to Have:
- Multimedia/broadcast experience (audio/video editing, vMix, Adobe CC).
- Knowledge of UPS/power backup systems.
- Russian language
