Macedonian President Travels To Kyiv


Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski (file photo) 27 June 2005 -- Macedonian President Branco Crvenkovski is in Kyiv today for talks with Ukraine's leaders about improving bilateral cooperation.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmytro Svystkov says Crvenkovski, who arrived late on 26 June, is expected to meet with President Viktor Yushchenko, Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko, and parliamentary speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn.

Svystkov said several bilateral agreements are scheduled to be signed, involving rail transportation, communication, medicine, and culture.
