More Attacks In Baghdad

14 July 2005 -- Two suicide bombers attacked Baghdad's Green Zone today, and a third would-be suicide bomber was captured before he could set off his explosive device.

Two policemen were killed and seven other people were wounded in the two explosions. Iraqi police shot and captured
the third bomber.

Iraqi police say the attack -- claimed by Iraq's Al-Qaeda -- involved a car bomber followed by two bombers on foot.

Earlier, Iraq's Al-Qaeda denied responsibility for a suicide bombing that killed 27 people, mostly children, yesterday.

Also today, the U.S. military said that it has captured a man suspected of being a senior Al-Qaeda operative involved in
the recent abduction and slaying of Egypt's top diplomat in Iraq.
