17 September 2005 -- Nine people were still missing today after the overloaded Russian river ship they were on sank in northern Siberia yesterday.

Police said seven people were rescued and one body was pulled from the Yenisei River after the accident.

The ship was carrying more than twice the weight allowed for the vessel and was not licensed to carry passengers. But the Emergency Situations Ministry said there were 12 passengers aboard, along with five crew members.
