The Anatolia news agency quoted him as saying that radical Iraqi Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr is also scheduled to visit Ankara soon.
Erdogan said in the coming talks, the Turkish side will try to calm the violence in Iraq.
Turkey has strongly condemned the sectarian bloodshed in its southern neighbor and urged Iraqis to refrain from reprisals.
Turkey has also suggested that countries neighboring Iraq should convene to discuss the situation there.

Iraqi religious and government leaders, as well as international officials, condemned the February 22 bomb attack that wrecked the Golden Mosque, a major Shi'ite Muslim shrine in Samarra. Below is a selection of statements on the incident.
