EU's Central Asia Envoy Visits Kyrgyzstan


Jan Kubis, the EU's envoy to Central Asia (file photo) (RFE/RL) BISHKEK, April 5, 2006 (RFE/RL) -- The EU's special envoy to Central Asia, Jan Kubis, continued his trip to Kyrgyzstan today, meeting leaders of local nongovernmental organizations, among others.


Topics of discussion included the political situation in the country and issues of development and furthering Kyrgyz-EU cooperation.


Kubis ends his visit to Kyrgyzstan on April 6.
