Uzbekistan, India Warm To Energy Agreements --> Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (left) with Uzbek President Karimov (file photo) (AFP) April 26, 2006 -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov says his country is ready to sign agreements with India to develop energy resources in the Central Asian republic.

Karimov was speaking after talks in Tashkent with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The two leaders signed a number of agreements to boost cooperation in a range of areas.
