Mothers Protest Iraq War At White House

May 14, 2006 -- A group of mothers are holding a 24-hour vigil outside the White House in Washington to protest the war in Iraq and to express opposition to a possible attack on Iran.

The group, called Women for Peace, is being led by prominent war opponent Cindy Sheehan, who lost her soldier son in Iraq. Also scheduled to take part is actress Susan Sarandon.

U.S. President George W. Bush will not be at the White House during the demonstration, but at the presidential weekend retreat at Camp David.
