July 20, 2006 -- Thousands of people gathered today near the northwestern Bosnian town of Prijedor to bury 305 victims of Bosnia's 1992-1995 war.
Most of the victims were killed during the summer of 1992, when Bosnian Serb forces overran Prijedor, killing some 1,700 non-Serbs and taking thousands to concentration camps they established nearby.
The 305 bodies, nearly all of them Bosnian Muslims, were exhumed from mass graves and identified by DNA analysis.
