Kazakh Ambassador Countering 'Borat' Film


An advertisment for the "Borat" film (official website) February 21, 2007 -- Kazakhstan's ambassador to the United States has embarked on a tour of U.S. universities to counter the portrayal of his country in the film "Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan."


Ambassador Kanat Saudabayev is telling students that the satirical depiction of Kazakhs by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has nothing to do with the real Kazakhstan.
