Iraqi President To Return To Iraq After Illness


Talabani (left) with Jordan's Princess Bassma Bint Talal in Amman on March 4 (epa) March 13, 2007 -- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is expected to return to Iraq on March 14 after two weeks recovering from exhaustion in a hospital in Amman, Jordan.


A spokesman for Talabani's party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, said Talabani is in good health and will return to Al-Sulaymaniyah, in northern Iraq.


He did not say when the president will resume work in Baghdad.
