Moscow, July 24 (RFE/RL) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Yarov has been removed from his post and appointed as President Boris Yeltsin's deputy chief of staff, the Kremlin press service announced today .
Yarov, who had been responsible for social and cultural matters, will now serve under Anatoly Chubais, who was recently appointed by Yeltsin as his chief of staff.
