A fire at a poultry farm in northern China killed at least 61 people and injured dozens more on June 3. The fire broke out just after dawn in Jilin Province. Around 100 factory workers managed to escape from the plant, the Xinhua news agency said, adding that the complicated interior structure and narrow exits at the plant made rescue work difficult.
