Czech Designers Unveil Flying Bicycle Prototype

Three companies in the Czech Republic have unveiled a prototype of an electric bicycle that flies with six helicopter-type propellers. At a demonstration in Prague on June 11, engineers used remote control to pilot the unmanned bike for a five-minute flight. The prototype is not yet ready for a human pilot on board, and the designers say better battery capacity will be needed first. (Reuters video)
