Sochi Worker Sews Mouth Shut In Protest Over Wages
A Russian construction worker has sewn his mouth shut and declared a hunger strike in protest over two months of unpaid wages he says he is owed for his work in Sochi. In a video posted on blogsochi.ru, Roman Kuznetsov stands in front of the media center in the unfinished Olympic Village, holding a sign calling on his company to pay him. Human rights groups have raised concerns over the treatment of migrant workers at the Olympic sites in Sochi, saying that many are owed back wages or are exploited by their employers. (Reuters)
