While Tajik President Emomali Rahmon was making a regional tour of the country's south, one young citizen stole the spotlight. Three-year-old Gulnigor Najmiddin was meant to read a poem to the president but failed to recognize him, and simply told him she was cold, earning her a hug from the important visitor. Gulnigor had a chance to recite the poem later when RFE/RL's Tajik Service visited her at home. (With video from Tajik state television)
