Soyuz Rocket Carries Olympic Torch To Space Station
A three-man crew blasted off from Kazakhstan's Baikonur space center on board a Soyuz rocket carrying the Olympic torch on November 7. The Russian, American, and Japanese crew members will deliver the unlit torch to the International Space Station, where two Russian cosmonauts will take it on a space walk. The Olympic torch has flown into space before, in 1996 and 2000, but the planned space walk will be the first for the international symbol. (Reuters video)
