Pro-Ukraine activist Oleksandr Reshetnyak has reportedly been executed by separatist insurgents in Luhansk after being tortured for two days. According to local media reports, separatist leaders say Reshetnyak was wounded as he attempted to escape.

During yesterday's protests outside the Russian embassy in Kyiv, angry protesters forced Ukrainian lawmaker Mykola Rudkovsky to throw a stone at the embassy building. Rudkovsky, who had come to talk to the demonstrators, was then doused with "zelyonka" – a bright green antiseptic solution. His vehicle was also damaged. Video by RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service.

RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service has this video of protesters pelting the Russian embassy in Kyiv with eggs to denounce what they call Russia's backing of separatists in eastern Ukraine. The protesters also vandalized diplomatic vehicles parked outside the embassy.
