Kyiv says it will turn over crash investigation, from our news desk:
Ukraine says it will hand over control of an investigation into the Malaysian airliner crash to international experts and suggested the Netherlands should lead the process.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk also said in Kyiv on July 21 that Kyiv officials will allow "Western partners" to coordinate the probe into the plane's July 17 downing.
He said Ukraine is prepared to "transport all bodies to Amsterdam" for forensic tests.
Yatsenyuk said 272 bodies of the 298 passengers have been recovered from the crash site.
Dutch investigators are reportedly checking the refrigerated train cars with the bodies, near the town of Torez.
Yatsenyuk said Ukraine is convinced the plane was shot down by a missile probably fired from a Buk-M1 missile system.
Yatsenyuk said he expected nothing from Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin should understand "it's enough already."
He said Moscow had armed and trained separatists to fight against Ukrainian soldiers. (Reuters, AFP, AP)

A pro-Russian separatist leader says Ukrainian military forces are attacking rebel forces in the eastern city of Donetsk.
Sergei Kavtaradze, a self-styled official in the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic," said at least four Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles were attempting to fight their way into the city.
Fighting is also centered around the city's train station, where explosions and plumes of black smoke are reported.
People were seen fleeing the city center, near the train station, where two rebel tanks were reportedly driving toward.
The Donetsk city council issued a statement warning people to remain in their homes and to stay away from several roads and the Krasnoarmeiskoye highway because of fighting.
A Ukrainian military official in Kyiv said the operation is in an "active phase" and he could not comment on it. (Reuters, AP)
