NATO has issued updated a four-page "Fact Sheet" titled "Russia's accusations - setting the record straight" in which it challenges Moscow on:
1) the legitimacy of the government in Kyiv; 2) NATO's response to the Ukraine crisis; 3) the legality of the "so-called referendum in Crimea"; 4) NATO enlargement vis-a-vis Russian security; 5) the suggestion that NATO "wants to 'drag' Ukraine into NATO"; 6) the claim that NATO intended to base missiles and ships in Sevastopol; 7) an alleged pledge by NATO "not to enlarge or build infrastructure in Eastern Europe"; 8) claims that missile defense threatens Russia; 9) Russian "claims that the U.S. is disinterested in Europe and...not united"; and 10) NATO-Russia relations.
