YEREVAN (Reuters) -- Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian said on October 12 he would make a landmark trip to Turkey to attend a football match this week, with the neighbours bidding for rapprochement after a century of hostility.
"Providing nothing extraordinary happens in these two days, I will go to Bursa and support my favourite team," he told reporters on departure from Yerevan for talks in Moscow.
"I see no serious basis not to accept this invitation."
