A government-linked Iranian studio plans to shoot a television movie about Shahram Amiri, the Iranian nuclear researcher who claims he was abducted by U.S. intelligence agents last year.
Amiri returned to Iran earlier this month after surfacing in the Iranian interest section of the Pakistani Embassy in Washington.
The United States has rejected claims about Amiri's abduction and U.S. media reports have said Amidi had defected to the United States and was paid millions of dollars to reveal information about Iran's nuclear program.
Amir-Hossein Ashtianipour, the head of Sima film studio, said the script of the TV movie, based on the real events, is currently being prepared.
