Moscow 'Black Hawks' Sentenced To Prison Terms

MOSCOW -- A Moscow court has sentenced six men from the Caucasus to prison terms of between four and seven years for hooliganism and assault, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.

The men, who belonged to a group known as the Black Hawks, were found guilty of severely beating two young men earlier this year.

The Black Hawks allegedly targeted only alleged skinheads for assault. A seventh person accused of taking part in the crime, Rasul Khalilov, was shot dead near his Moscow apartment on September 3.
