Two Armenian soldiers have reportedly been killed by an Azerbaijani sniper along the two countries' border.
Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsur Hovannisian said Sergeant Andranik Egoian and Private Boris Gasparian were shot dead at the country's southwestern border on June 5.
Azerbaijan did not comment on the reported incident.
Several officers and soldiers from both sides have been killed in shootings in the last several weeks along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as near the administrative boundary of Azerbaijan's breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Baku and Yerevan remain locked in hostilities over Nagorno-Karabakh that was seized from Azerbaijan by Armenian-backed separatists during a war in the early 1990s.
Nagorno-Karabakh's independence has not been recognized by any country.
