Dozens Killed In Spate Of Iraq Bombings


More than 60 people have been killed and scores injured in at least 10 separate insurgent attacks across Iraq on September 9.

Two car bombs exploded in Amara, killing at least 16 people.

Gunmen and a suicide bomber killed 11 Iraqi soldiers and wounded eight at a military base in Dujail.

Seven police recruits were killed and 17 injured in an attack in Kirkuk.

Two parked cars exploded in Nasiriyah, killing two and wounding four.

A police officer and a passerby were killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad.

Three people were killed and 24 injured in the southern port of Basra, while a car bomb at a market in Tuz Khormato, near Kirkuk, left four dead and more than 40 injured
