Reports from Iraq say a suicide bomber has killed at least eight people when he detonated his explosive vest after Friday Prayers at a Shi'ite mosque in Baghdad.
Officials said the April 22 attack in the capital’s southwestern district of Al-Radwaniya also wounded more than 30 people.
They said a second suicide attacker at the mosque was shot and killed by security forces before he could set off his explosives.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but the Islamic State group battling government forces in Iraq’s north and west has regularly targeted Shi'ite areas in Baghdad.
