China Prime Minister To Bolster Strong Pakistan Ties After India Visit

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao is due in Pakistan on a three-day visit to strengthen ties and ink more business deals.

Wen is expected to sign off on trade deals with Pakistan valued at up to $14 billion.

Wen arrives in Islamabad after a two-day visit to India where he secured more than $16 billion in trade deals and pledged to India China's political support.

Today in Islamabad, Wen will aim to reassure Pakistan that energy, military, and economic ties remain tight, despite China's warming relations with India.
