Iranian news agencies say the country's Press Supervisory Board has suspended the hard-line weekly "9 Dey" over its editorial content.
The board said in a statement that the weekly had received several warnings in the past year.
Alireza Moaf, the weekly's editor in chief, was quoted as saying that articles critical of the government's "nuclear, cultural, and economic policies" are the main reason for the suspension.
He said the publication's case has been sent to court.
In January, the Press Supervisory Body suspended the hard-line weekly "Ya Lesarat."
Two reformist dailies have been also been shut down by authorities in the past few months.
The media freedom group Reporters Without Borders ranks Iran as one of the least free countries for journalists in the world.
