"The bad guys will benefit if the good people don't vote. Bad guys succeed when good people don't take part in elections. I will not call it an obligation but it is your moral duty to cast your vote. It is compulsory. Cast your vote if you want to change your future."

One voter in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province tells RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal that polling is peaceful in his village. "The polling is peaceful and all the people from our tribe and village are cooperating with the election officials."
Another:
"All our fears about security went away after we reached the polling station in the morning. There is a huge crowd here and polling is going peacefully. "
