Special security forces have been deployed to a town in Russia's Siberian region of Irkutsk following clashes between local residents and soldiers.
Officials in Nizhneudinsk said on November 18 that 50 security forces members had arrived to the town.
Local media reported that a group of soldiers from the Siberian Tuva region rallied in the town's central square on November 15, protesting an attack on their colleagues that led to the hospitalization of several soldiers.
The Russian Interior Ministry has not commented on the situation.
