MOSCOW -- A former deputy district prosecutor in Moscow has been found guilty of bribe-taking, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.
Moscow's Golovino district court found Vyacheslav Trofimov guilty of accepting over 3 million rubles ($417,000) as a bribe. Trofimov pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor asked the presiding judge to sentence Trofimov to 13 1/2 years in jail.
Trofimov is likely to be sentenced on December 9.
