Trump Willing To Testify Under Oath Over Comey Claims

U.S. President Donald Trump said he was “100 percent” willing to testify under oath about his private conversations with fired FBI Director James Comey. At a press conference in the White House Rose Garden on June 9, Trump said Comey’s testimony at a U.S. Senate hearing a day earlier showed there was "no collusion” between his campaign and Moscow. The former F.B.I. director had suggested the president fired him for continuing an investigation into suspected Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and potential ties to the Trump campaign. Trump also refused to confirm if there were tapes of his discussions with Comey. (Reuters)
